The story of the luau

With more than 1700 restaurants and 50 plus years of experience under his belt, Chick-fil-A founder Truett Cathy opened Truett’s Luau in December of 2013. At the age of 92, Truett wanted his last project to be a special restaurant with an environment focused on having fun and celebrating life with family and friends. For Truett, that brought to mind Hawaiian Luaus.

Aloha, and welcome to Truett's Luau! Over the last several years I have had the pleasure of working with S. Truett Cathy, founder of Chick-Fil-A, towards his dream of creating a Chick-fil-A restaurant with a Hawaiian twist. Helping Truett achieve his dream of bringing a little bit of Hawaii has been the highlight of my 31-year career with Chick-fil-A. So if you are looking for the Hawaiian experience without the plane ticket, be sure to come visit the Luau!
